According to the latest central service rules, the posts of Sr. Gestate Operator, Dafter, Library Attendant, Messenger-cum-Daftry, Jamadar (Sr. Peon), Peon, Examination Work Attendant, Chowkidar, Farash, and Safai Karamchari have been re-designated as Multi Tasking Staff.Ā

SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Candidates age shall be between 18 years and 27 years as on January 01, 2021. candidates born not before 1996 January 02 and not later than January 01, 2003. The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various Departments are:

SSC MTS Application Form
To start your SSC MTS 2022 application, candidates must register themselves in the One Time Registration. For One-time Registration, click on the Register Now link provided in Login Section on the SSC official website: Click Here. You must have a valid email id, mobile number, and digital copy of your photograph, and signature to complete the process. On One Time Registration, enter your basic details, including matriculation or SSLC registration number and should upload the recent photograph and signature. Once you enter your basic details and click on the save icon. Your Registration Number and Password will be sent to you, on your mobile number and Email ID. Save those details for future uses. You can now login using your Registration Number as username and the password provided to you. Change your password, if you wish. After the registration process, the “Basic Details” can be changed only twice.

How to Apply for SSC MTS 2022?
- Log in to the SSC Official website through your Registration Number and password: Click Here
- Under the “Apply” tab click on the “Others” tab. Under “Others”, click on the “Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination”.Ā
- Your basic details will get automatically updated on the application form, you need to select whether you are in the EWS section or not.
- Select your desired choices of examinations. You can select up to three centres.
- Fill your highest qualification.
- Indicate your Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates’ eligibility if applicable.
- Check the declaration and click on the “I agree” checkbox and fill up the Captcha code.
- Preview and verify the information and submit the Application.
- Unreserved male candidates have to pay Rs.100/ as application fees.Ā
- Once you complete the application process, you will receive the confirmation message on your registered email, and mobile.Ā

SSC MTS Notification 2022: Selection Pattern
For selecting the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), SSC will conduct a two-stage written test followed by the Document Verification Process. The written test pattern is as follows:Ā

- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

There will be separate category-wise, State/ UT-wise cut-offs in Paper-I. As the vacancies for MTS are in two age groups i.e.
- 18 to 25 years and
- 18 to 27 years,
the Commission may fix separate age group-wise, category-wise and State/ UT-wise cut-offs in Preliminary tests.Ā
SSC MTS Stage: II Descriptive Paper
