- Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer
A Bachelor’s Degree from an acknowledged University or Institute. Desirable Qualifications mentioned is Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
- Junior Statistical Officer
A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from an identified University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or A Bachelor’s Degree in any topic with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II
A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from an acknowledged University or Institute. The applicant should have learned Statistics as a subject in all three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
- Assistant in National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT)
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. Degree in law from a recognized university.
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. The desirable Qualification mentioned is a minimum of one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution and a Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.

The candidates who wish to apply for the SSC exam can now check the official site of SSC and apply online. The application form will be available for the candidates and the registration will be open till 26-01-2022 (23:30)
How to Apply Online for SSC CGL Exam 2023?
SSC One Time Registration
To start your SSC CGL application, candidates must register themselves in the SSC One Time Registration when SSC CGL 2022 notification is out. For One-time Registration, click on the Register Now link provided in Login Section on the SSC official website: SSC.
To register yourself make sure you have a valid email id, mobile number, and digital copy of your photograph, and signature. On One Time Registration, you need to enter your basic details, including matriculation or SSLC registration number, and should upload the photograph and signature. Once you enter all the basic pieces of information and click on the save icon your Registration Number will be displayed on the screen. Your Registration Number and Password will be sent to you on your mobile number and Email ID. Save those details for future uses.
Login using your Registration Number as username and the password provided to you. Change your password, if you wish. After the registration process, the “Basic Details” can be changed only twice.

- Login to your SSC Account using, given Registration Number and password. Click Here
- A new window will open for you, Here you can find “Combined Graduate Level Examination “.
- Under this section, you can find the “Apply” tab. Click on the Apply tab.
- On the new tab, you can find your basic details, check whether any edit is required. Select three examination centers, your EWS, and Ex-servicemen status.
- Enter your education qualification and whether you are applying for the Junior Statistical Officer or not.
- Check the declaration at the end of the page and click on the “Preview”.
- Recheck all your details and click on the “Submit” tab.
- For unreserved male candidates Rs. 100/ is to be paid towards the application fees, pay the fees through the online mode.
- Your Application will get provisionally accepted by the commission.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023
The candidates have to go through a selection process that includes 4 different stages for SSC CGL 2023 recruitment process. The SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022 for the selection is different for all the different stages. The first stage in the process is the SSC CGL tier 1 examination which contains 100 Questions with 200 marks, a total of 60 Minutes is provided for the aspirants to attempt this examination. After clearing the cutoff for the SSC CGL Tier 1 an aspirant will qualify for the next stages of recruitment.

SSC CGL Preliminary examination would be a Computer Based Objective Test. This test will be conducted across different shifts in different parts of the country. Exam pattern details – Total time
- Candidates will be given 2 Hours or 120 Minutes to complete each paper.
- The questions in the SSC CGL Tier-II will be of objective type in which candidates will have to choose one correct answer from the given four options.
- 0.25 mark will be deducted on each wrong answer in the English Language and Comprehension (Paper-II) of the SSC CGL Tier-II exam and 0.50 mark in Paper I, Paper III, and Paper IV.
- Paper I and Paper II in Tier-II are compulsory for all Group B and C posts.
- Paper III is compulsory for candidates who have applied for a Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
- Paper IV is compulsory for those candidates who are selected after taking the Tier I exam and registered for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

Detailed Selection Process
Candidates appearing or planning to appear for SSC CGL must go through the selection process. Knowing the selection process will help them in their exam preparation. Furthermore, candidates can get to know about the whole SSC CGL process and the various stages involved in recruitment. The SSC CGL selection procedure consists of the following four stages:
- Tier 1 – Computer-based Examination
- Tier 2 – Computer-based Examination
Candidates have to clear tier 1 to qualify for the tier 2 exam. SSC releases the tier 1 exam result, and candidates whose names are on the merit list are eligible to appear for tier 2. Candidates can continue to read the article to get in-depth details about all these tiers.
SSC CGL Selection Process: Tier 1
Tier 1 is the first stage of the SSC CGL procedure. SSC CGL Tier 1 is a computer-based exam that consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam contains four subjects or sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Furthermore, the tier 1 question paper contains 100 questions with 200 marks. The overall duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
SSC CGL Selection Process: Tier 2
SSC CGL Tier 2 is also a computer-based exam that contains objective-type multiple-choice questions. The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases- Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper I (Mandatory for all posts) and Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. While Paper III is for candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
