Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) has released notification regarding vacancies for various posts in the organization. UPRVUNL is looking to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (Trainee), Assistant Accountant, Chemist Grade II and Lab Assistant. The notification regarding the recruitment has been released on the official website. Application window will be open from 21 February, 2022 to 21 March, 2022. Aspirants should go through the notification before submitting the application form. Applications are to be submitted online. No other mode of submission will be considered.
UPRVUNL is a state owned nuclear energy utility with a current production capacity of 5474 MW and four thermal power plants in Uttar Pradesh. It is now adding a 3960 MW limit to their existing armada with fundamental innovation, ready to contribute to the state’s growth.

UPRVUNL Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must check the eligibility criteria laid by UPRVUNL and ensure that they meet all the criteria. The applications of those who do not satisfy the criteria will be rejected.
Educational Qualifications
Chief Chemist – Applicants should have at least second class in M. Sc or first class in B. Sc in Chemistry from a university recognized by law in Uttar Pradesh or any other university recognized by the Governor. They should also have a minimum of five years’ experience in chemical analysis and testing of water, coal and oil in a thermal power station of 100 MW.
Additional Private Secretary: Applicants should be a graduate from any recognized University. They should also have a speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand and 40 words per minute in English and Hindi typing.
Assistant Review Officer: Applicants should be a graduate from any recognized University. They should have a speed of minimum 30 words per minute in Hindi typing.
Accounts Clerk: Applicants should have Bachelor degree in Commerce from a University/ Deemed
University established by an Act of Central Govt. or any State Govt. They should also have a typing speed on Computer of minimum 30 to 40 words per minute in Hindi/ English.
Note: Degree earned through distant learning system will not be considered. Applicants should have acquired the degree by the time of submitting the application.

Age Limit
Candidates aspiring to apply for the vacancies must ensure that they fall within the age limit mentioned in the notification. The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum limit is 40 years. The cut off date for age calculation is 1st January 2022.
Age relaxations are permissible as follows:
- 5 years in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) who are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
- For ex servicemen the relaxation is decided by the number of years in service provided it is not more than 3 years of the maximum age limit.
- For people with disabilities (Pwd) a relaxation of 15 years on the upper age limit will be permissible.

UPRVUNL Recruitment 2022 – Selection Process
Direct recruitment for all the posts will be through an objective type competitive examination
Chief Chemist:
The computer based test will be a three hour exam. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste should score a minimum of 28% and all other candidates should score a minimum of 33% to qualify.
There shall be two parts in the question paper of the competitive exam:-
PART-I – There shall be 150 objective type questions from degree level Chemistry. Each question will carry one mark and there will be a negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer.
PART-II – There shall be 50 objective type questions comprising General Hindi, General Knowledge and
Reasoning. Each question will carry one mark and there will be a negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer.
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in Computer based test, Archival test and Interview. The weightage for interview is 20 marks. The final merit list will be based on CBT and interview.
Additional Private Secretary:
The computer based test will be a three hour exam. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste should score a minimum of 28% and all other candidates should score a minimum of 33% to qualify.
PART I – There will be 50 objective type questions paper comprising relating to the knowledge of Computer Application based on NIELIT ‘O’ level. Candidates who fail to score 50% marks in Part I will be disqualified and his/ her Part II paper will not be evaluated.
PART II – This part will comprise 200 objective type questions on the following
subjects :-
a- General English
b- General Hindi
c- General Knowledge
Each question will carry one mark and there will be a negative marking of .25 marks for every wrong answer. In the third round, candidates will have to undergo stenography test and typing test. The final selection will be made on the basis of mark scored in the second part of CBT.

UPRVUNL Recruitment 2022 – Application Fee
The application fee applicable for various categories are as follows:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe ( who are residents of Uttar Pradesh) – Rs. 826 (including GST)
- All other categories – Rs. 1180 (including GST)
- Person with Disabilities (AAV category) (only for the candidates who are applying for the post of Junior Engineer)- Rs. 12 (including GST)
Application fee can be paid through net banking/ debit card/ credit card. Other modes of payment are mentioned in the website. The payment gateway will be activated 24 hours after the submission of the form. Application fee once paid will be non refundable.

UPRVUNL Recruitment 2022 – Application Process
- All the candidates are urged to carefully go through the official notification before submitting their applications.
- Candidates must ensure that they have all the required documents. The list of required documents is given below.
- Candidates should have a valid mobile number and email id.
- Read the Instructions carefully and select “I Agree” and Press ‘Start’ button to proceed further.
- Fill in all the required information.
- Category once filled by the candidate in the online application form cannot be changed.
- There are three steps in the application process.
- Application form once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
- Take a print out of the application form and a copy of the e-receipt for future reference.

- Documents to prove educational qualifications as per eligibility criteria (from I0th/ Matriculation onwards) with the percentage of marks obtained.
