UP TET is taken in two different shifts for two separate exams, Paper I and II. UPTET Teacher Salary Structure 2022

As the Government of Uttar Pradesh has honored the 7th Pay Commission, they too have granted an increase in the salary scale to teachers. The next pay grade increase for a primary school teacher will be from Rs. 35400 to around Rs. 39000; and for an upper primary school teacher, from Rs. 40000 to about Rs. 45000.

Candidates who are selected for the job of a primary or upper-primary school teacher can look forward to many other perks besides just their normal monthly salary. These include House Rent Allowance, Medical Facilities, and Travel Allowances; all of these come at no extra cost. Every month from the salary there is a deduction of GIS and TDS. Every month an amount of Rs 87 is deducted for Group Insurance Scheme and Rs. 500 to 1000 for Tax Deducted at Source. For the new joining TDS will not be deducted, it will be started after a certain period of completion of their services. Therefore, the new per month salary for a primary teacher could be calculated as

Basic Salary + DA + HRA – GIS – TDS= Rs 41000 (approx) per month

The UPTET Teacher Salary is revised every year and has increments that happen twice a year, in January and July. It all depends on when you want the pay increase because it won’t happen until you ask for it. In Uttar Pradesh, the pay scale provided to Assistant teachers during their training period is Rs 7300 which will be increased to the pay scale for permanent teachers after they complete their training period.
