Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the educational board has received approval from the Cabinet Committee for the request to Central Government to increase the Dearness Allowance. With effect from 1 January 2022, the Dearness Relief was increased to 34% by an increase of 3% to the previous allowance i.e. 31%. After the 7th pay commission, the salary for KVS TGT, PGT, and PRT posts has been revised as per Kendriya Vidyalaya Samiti’s declaration in the previous year. The revision included House Rent Allowance (according to the city location) and Dearness Allowance (from 17% to 28%). Hence, compared to the previous years, a few changes have been incorporated into the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan job profiles.

KVS TGT 2022: Salary Structure Overview
With an increase in the KVS Teacher’s salary and allowances, there are thousands of aspirants seeking the posts in KVS to gain a secure job. Registered under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) in the year 1965 on December 15th, Kendrivya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) aims to establish and manage the Central Government Schools spread across India and abroad.
