Before submitting an application or showing up for the exam, applicants should confirm their eligibility for the test and that they meet all requirements set forth in the Commission’s notification regarding age, education, chances for a fee reduction, etc. If they meet the requirements for eligibility, they will be admitted to all stages of the exam on a pure provisional basis. The mere right to appear on the selection list or to be admitted to the written exam, certificate verification, or counselling does not grant the candidates any right to an appointment. Because of this, the application is considered provisional at all times, and the Commission retains the right to reject it at any time, after due consideration and even after a decision has been made if it is determined that an incorrect claim or a violation of the rules or instructions has occurred. Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications for TNPSC Group 5A Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria are as below.

• The required qualifications for these positions should have been passed in the following order of studies: 10th grade, HSC, or its equivalent, and undergraduate degree. Exam results should have been released no later than the date of notification.
• Candidates should have sufficient Tamil language skills.
• If applicants fail to upload and submit proof of their qualifications’ equivalence in the form of a government order that was issued on or before the date of this notification and submit it with their online application, their application will be summarily rejected after due consideration. Government directives concerning qualification equivalence that were issued after the date of this notification will not be acknowledged.
• Every person hired for the position of Assistant Section Officer in the Secretariat (other than the law and finance departments) or Assistant Section Officer in the Secretariat (finance department) by recruitment by transfer must complete two months of foundational training and pass the exam held at the conclusion of that training during his probationary period. If the test isn’t passed within that time frame, the student will be returned to their parent department.
• Every person appointed to the category of Assistant Section Officers in the Finance Department must successfully complete Part-I of the Account Test for Subordinate Officers during their probationary period. The Account Test for Subordinate Officers, Part-I must be passed within two years of the appointment date if the person so appointed is not required to serve a probationary period.

Physical Fitness

Candidates who are chosen for the position will need to present a physical fitness certificate. The chosen candidate must present the aforementioned Certificate to the Appointing Authority when accepting the position. The Standard of vision should be standard 3 or better. Candidates with vision impairments must present an Eye Fitness Certificate from a licenced eye specialist employed by a government hospital. One-Time Online Registration

In order to apply for this recruitment, candidates must first register their basic information through the One-Time Online Registration System and pay the registration fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees One Hundred and Fifty Only).
