Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board has published TNTET Notification on 7th March 2022 on its official website. So far 6 lakh 33 thousand people have applied for the exam. The examination board has announced that it will be held from 10th to 15th of September, now the exam for Paper 1 will be held from 14.10.2022 to 20.10.2022.
Applicants are informed that the Teacher Eligibility Test Paper – 1 is currently postponed for administrative reasons. The exam date will be announced later.

Prohibited Items in TNTET Exam Centres
- No candidate will be allowed to carry any bag inside the examination center, if the candidate carries bags he/she has to keep it outside. The board is not responsible for missing items.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any digital equipment, text material, calculators, slide rule or ruler, record tables, electronic watch, mobile phone, Bluetooth device etc.
- Food items are not allowed inside the examination centers, however candidates are allowed to carry water
TNTET Exam Day Instruction
- Candidates may be allotted in a nearby center in case the center they have chosen is not available
- Any requests regarding change of examination center after allotment will not be accepted by TNTRB
