In July 2020, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications from candidates across India towards the Assistant Professor Post. The latest edition of the Assistant Professor recruitment cycle was for selecting candidates towards the Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering stream. Any candidates who have the UGC listed qualifications were eligible for these positions. Selected candidates will be appointed in the state Pay Scale of Rs. 57,000 (Pay Level 10) along with other allowances. BPSC will conduct a written test and a personal interview for the applicants based on their academic merits. BPSC Assistant Professor 2020 Admit Card
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts the written examination and personal interview of the candidates based on their academic credentials. Before each of these stages, BPSC will publish the admit card for the shortlisted candidates for attempting each stage of the screening process. The Bihar PSC Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering, the selection process has the following screening stages:

The maximum scorable marks would be 100. The written examination would be of GATE level for 40 Marks.

- On the landing page enter your login credentials, Username, Password, Date of Birth and Name of the Father. You can find your login credentials in your registered email and mobile messages.
- Download the admit card in pdf format.
Along with the admit card make sure to bring any one of the below-given documents while you are appearing for the test:
- Voter ID
- PAN Card
- Ration Card
- Passport
- Employee Id of a Recognized Organization
- Bank Account Pass Book
- Any Photo Id Proof signed by Gazetted Officer

Through this 2020 recruitment, BPSC will fill 287 vacant posts of Assistant Professors across the state-run Engineering Colleges. Out of which, 116 vacancies are for General category, 50 for EBC, 45 for SC, 35 for BC, 29 for EWS, 9 for BC (Female), and 3 for ST. Eligibility Criteria for BPSC Assistant Professor Post
- Educational Qualification and Experience
BE/ B.Tech/ B.S/ B.Sc (Engg.) and M.E/ M.Tech/ M.S or Integrated M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with first class or Equivalent in any one of the degrees from any UGC recognized institute. There shall be a weightage to candidates working on contract basis on the post of Assistant professor under the Department of Science and Technology.
Qualifications acquired through online mode and distance mode/ Open University is unacceptable for this post.
- Age Limit
Candidates age shall be between 22 years and above as on August 01, 2020. There are no upper age criteria.
