BPSSC Recruitment 2020 – Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates can apply for the post of BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2020 only if they qualifies the following eligibility criteria.
Educational Qualification
As per the official notification, the applicant who has completed Bachelor’s degree in Science with Animal Husbandry, Pathology, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics. OR BCA Degree from Recognized University college can apply for the post.
Age Limit
As on August 1, 2020, the minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years and the maximum age is 42 years.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- SC/ ST Candidates: 5 Years

Selection Process of BPSSC Forest Range Officer 2020
The candidates will be selected through a three tier process, that is;
- Written Examination
- Interview
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The written examination will have two papers and all the questions will be objective (Multiple Choice Questions) in type.
- Paper-I General Hindi will be of 100 marks with 50 questions and candidates will be given 60 minutes to answer it. The candidate is required to score minimum 30 percent mark in Paper 1 to clear Paper 1. For each wrong answer 0.2 marks will be deducted. The marks obtained in this paper will not be included in the merit list.
- Paper II General Studies will be of 100 questions and the maximum score will be 300. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. For each wrong answer 0.3 marks will be deducted.
