The official announcement was made on 25th June 2019 by the Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Mekathoti Suchitra in the presence of Media. About Andhra Pradesh State level Police Recruitment Board
Andhra Pradesh State level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) came in to existence on 10/09/1985. It is headed by Inspector General of Police designated as the Chairman. SLPRB plans the recruitment of all the posts in the Police Department of the Andhra Pradesh State.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed their class 10th/ 12th/ or Bachelor’s degree. The minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years while the maximum age should not go beyond 30 years. To apply for SCT Constables post, one must have a minimum age of 18 years and should not be more than 22 years. Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years for OBC/ST/SC students (may vary).
The candidates with higher qualification than the prescribed one may also be considered for selection along with the candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.
Selection Process
In order to get recruited, candidates will be required to clear the written test, physical standard test, medical standard test, and an interview.

Salary Details
- Selected candidates will be offered a salary ranging between Rs 21,500 and Rs 81,100.
How to Apply
Step I: Candidate has to visit SLPRB Website www.slprb.ap.gov.in to pay prescribed Registration Fee by providing his / her personal details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Community and SSLC Hall Ticket or its equivalent through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode made available on the SLPRB Website. The candidate can also visit any of the AP Online Centres to pay the prescribed fee. The prescribed fee should be credited in favor of Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh.
Step II: After making the Payment, Candidate should visit the website www.slprb.ap.gov.in and submit the Online Application Form. If the candidate fails to submit the Online Application Form his application will be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.
Step III: Candidates who are declared qualified in Preliminary Written Test have to again visit the website www.slprb.ap.gov.in for uploading the Part II Application along with the original scanned copies of Certificates / Documents..
Note: The online AP Police SI Constable application link will be made available soon on the official website of SLPBR www.slprb.ap.gov.in . However, the opening date for the vacancies is expected to be out by the end of December this year.
