Age Limit
For the L.P. School Assistant (Kannada Medium) and High School Assistant (Arabic) age limit is not applicable. Both these posts are By transfer posts.
For the L.P. School Assistant ( Malayalam Medium) and UP School Assistant (Malayalam Medium)- 18- 40 years.
For HSA- 18-43 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for all other above posts.

Kerala PSC LP/UP Assistant: Educational Qualifications
For all the posts, pass in the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET), conducted by the Government of Kerala is a must. However, candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D./M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. The B.Ed should be in the concerned Language.
- High School Assistant (Sanskrit)
A Degree in Sanskrit and B. Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala or a title of Oriental Learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided that they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T.
- High School Assistant (Arabic)
A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. Postgraduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T./L.T.
- L.P. School Assistant (Kannada Medium)
A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination.
OR
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.
A pass in TTC (Kannada) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
- UP School Assistant
A pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
OR
A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-Degree examination.
OR
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other examination recognized by Government as equivalent thereto.
A pass in T.T.C Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
OR
A Degree in any subject and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.
- High School Assistant (Natural Science)
A degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
- High School Assistant (Mathematics)
Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
