AP Police SI Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern
AP Police Prelims Exam Pattern is as follows:
- Candidates are required to attempt a Preliminary Written Test consisting of 200 questions, each question carries 1 mark.
- The duration of the exam would be for 3 hours.
- All the questions would be objective in nature.
- The Question paper will be set in Telugu, English, and Urdu.
- Answers should be marked on an OMR answer sheet using Blue/ Black ballpoint pen.
- The minimum marks that you to secure in order to qualify in the Preliminary written test is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/ STs/ Ex. Servicemen
Preliminary Exam Pattern
The Preliminary Exam consists of two papers. This exam will be same for all the posts.
- Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning/ Mental Ability Reasoning
- General Studies

Main Exam Pattern
Main Exam consists of 4 papers, each will conducted for a duration of 3 hours:
- Papers I and II are subjective in nature.
- Paper III will consists of objective type multiple choice questions on Arithmetic reasoning and Mental Ability
- Paper IV will have objective type multiple choice questions on General Studies.
