AP Police SI Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern

AP Police Prelims Exam Pattern is as follows:

• Candidates are required to attempt a Preliminary Written Test consisting of 200 questions, each question carries 1 mark.
• The duration of the exam would be for 3 hours.
• All the questions would be objective in nature.
• The Question paper will be set in Telugu, English, and Urdu.
• Answers should be marked on an OMR answer sheet using Blue/ Black ballpoint pen.
• The minimum marks that you to secure in order to qualify in the Preliminary written test is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/ STs/ Ex. Servicemen

Preliminary Exam Pattern

 The Preliminary Exam consists of two papers. This exam will be same for all the posts.

• Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning/ Mental Ability Reasoning
• General Studies

Main Exam Pattern

Main Exam consists of 4 papers, each will conducted for a duration of 3 hours:

• Papers I and II are subjective in nature.
• Paper III will consists of objective type multiple choice questions on Arithmetic reasoning and Mental Ability
• Paper IV will have objective type multiple choice questions on General Studies.
