Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Engineers in various engineering sub-services. A total of 190 vacancies (35 Carry forwarded and 155 fresh vacancies) are notified. The scale of pay is Rs.31460 – 84970. Applications are invited from candidates who are within the age group of 18-42. The candidates shall apply online mode through the commission’s official website. Any application sent through any mode other than the prescribed online method shall not be entertained by the commission.

APPSC AE Exam Pattern
The selection of the posts will be based on a written test in a Computer-based Recruitment Test conducted by the commission. The medium of examinations will be in English only. This is an objective type exam in which the candidates are to be answered in a computer system. The candidates should check the commission’s website to keep themselves updated about the exam. The selection process for AP PSC Assistant Engineers in various engineering services schemes includes a written exam with a clear syllabus. The medium of examination will be English only. The APPSC junior assistant syllabus divides into 3 papers viz,
- Paper -1 General Studies and Mental Ability (Degree Standard)
- Paper -2 Civil or Mechanical (Common) (Diploma Standard)
- Paper -3 Environmental Engineering/Civil (Common) (Degree Standard)
