Andra Pradesh PSC conducts the APPSC Group-1 exams to recruit candidates towards the state civil services. Through this common recruitment tests, APPSC selects candidates for 19 different posts across the state service. Group-1 posts selection has two stages of written examination followed by the personal interview. Selected candidates in the service will have a salary in the pay scale of Rs 35,120 – Rs 87,130, along with other allowances. To arrest the spread of pandemic Covid-19, PSC decides to postpone the Group-1 Main examination until further announcement.

APPSC Group-1 Posts 2020
Through the Group-1 examination, Andra Pradesh PSC selects candidates towards 19 different state departments/ services. Deputy Collector to District Panchayat Officer the posts vary from state civil service to Rural Development Services. In Andra Pradesh, a Deputy Collector can become an IAS officer within 15 years of his/ her service.
