APPSC Group 3 Application Process
APPSC Group 3 Application process is completely online based, and the candidates are supposed to read and understand the guidelines or instructions before applying for the post. A small mistake can lead to the rejection of application. So, go through the details entered during the filling application once again. Steps to be followed during filling up of application form:
- Candidates applying for the first time for APPSC Recruitment 2020 have to fill the OTPR application to get OTPR Id. While filling the OTPR form, candidates have to enter the following details: any identity proof like Aadhar card details, voter’s id, etc. personal details like name, date of birth, mobile number, parent’s details, Educational details, etc.
- After filling, ensure whether the details given in the provided space are correct or not. If you find any mistakes, modify them by hitting “Modify OTPR.”. Then save the details and proceed further.
How to Apply for APPSC Group 3 Recruitment 2020?
- Log in to the APPSC website, i.e., psc.ap.gov.in using OTPR Id and password
- After login, hit the “Online Application Submission.”
- Click the “Payment” to pay the application fee using payment gateway
- Fill all the appropriate details in the payment form and submit it
- On successful submission of the form, payment reference ID generated and displayed on the screen
- Hit “OK”. A new page showing various payment options will appear
- You have to choose any one of them to complete the payment process
- Once the payment is successful, the reference id generated and noted down for future reference
- After the completion of the payment process, you will redirect to the application form
- Fill the required details in the APPSC Group 3 application form
- Once the application form is submitted successfully, the application receipt generate
- Take a print out and keep it safe for future correspondence
Application Fee
Applicants have to pay Rs.250/- as the application fee and Rs.80/- as the examination fee. Candidates those who were from SC, ST, BC, PH and Ex-Servicemen background are exempted from the payment of the examination fee. Applicants have to pay the fee, through the online payment gateway using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

APPSC Group 3 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The interested candidates must understand the exam pattern before starting your exam preparations.
- Prelims exam pattern:
The prelims exam paper consists of 150 questions for 150 marks. Each question carries one mark and the duration of the examination will be 2 hour and 30 minutes. For each wrong answer 0.33 marks will be deducted. The questions will be objective type written examination with degree standard. There are two parts in the question paper: Part 1 (General studies and Mental ability) and Part 2 (Rural development and Problems in Rural areas with reference to Andhra Pradesh).
- Mains exam pattern:
The mains examination consists of two Paper 1 and 2, each section comprises 150 questions, each carries one mark and total marks for mains examination is 300. The exam duration is 2 hour and 30 minutes. Paper 1 (General studies and Mental ability) and Paper 2 (Contemporary Problems and Development of Rural Society with Special Reference to Andhra Pradesh).
