Andhra University has published the Andra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) on its official website. Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test or APSET is an eligibility test for applying for an assistant professor position in Universities in Andhra Pradesh. For APSET 2020, a total of 26527 candidates have appeared for the examination, from the 1592 candidates who were declared qualified under various categories in APSET 2020. Applicants can now check their APSET result, cut-off marks and scorecard from the below-given links. The document verification schedule for all eligible candidates is also out.

APSET Result 2021
The Andhra University, Visakhapatnam conducted the APSET examination on December 20, 2021, on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The examination was conducted on 30 subjects approved by UGC. A total of 26,527 candidates had appeared for the examination, and from them, 1592 get qualified for the next stage of selection.
According to the official notification, six per cent of the candidates who appear in all three papers will be declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor/ Lecturer. This 6% of candidates would be distributed among various categories as per the reservation policy of the concerned State Government. As per the Andhra Pradesh reservation policy, the percentage allocation of reservations is BC-A (7%), BC-B (10%), BC-C (1%), BC-D (7%), BC-E (4%), SC (15%), ST (6%). The 33.33% for the Women category and 4% for PWD candidates are given reservation vertically in each category. Candidates have to secure at least 40 per cent aggregate marks for the General category and at least 35 per cent aggregate marks if they belong to reserved categories, to be declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor/ Lecturer.

APSET Document Verification 2021
The Certificate verification for the APSET-2020 qualified candidates will be conducted across various centres from March 15, 2021, to March 18, 2021. The document verification process is scheduled on the below given Andra University centres:
- Visakhapatnam: For Candidates who have written APSET- 2020 examination at Visakhapatnam and Rajahmundry Regional Centres
- Guntur: For Candidates who have written APSET at Guntur Regional Centre
- Ananthapuramu: For Candidates who have written APSET at Ananthapuramu, Kadapa and Kurnool Regional Centres
- Tirupati: For Candidates who have written the APSET- 2020 examination at Tirupati and Nellore Regional Centres
