Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has come up with 7th Phase Primary Teacher Niyojan to create great opportunity for unemployed eligible candidates to attain a government job. The vacancy is under Bihar School Education department for the post of Primary, Middle School, Higher Secondary School and Computer teachers. Interested candidates can go through the eligibility criteria and apply online through the official website – www.educationbihar.gov.in

The Education Department of Bihar released a notice stating the changes made in the selection process. Earlier the selection was made on the basis of the CTET result. The board has now come up with a proposal of introducing the 60-40 ratio of weightage for the CTET Score and academic score of the candidates for the 7th Phase of Teacher Recruitment 2022. For classes 1 to 5, the total score secured by the candidate in D. El. Ed, 10th and 12th board will be divided by 3 to obtain the academic score of which 40% will be considered. for classes 6 to 10, the total score obtained in B. Ed and graduation will be divided by 2 to obtain the academic score.

Bihar 7th Phase Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2022

Bihar education department has set certain criteria to recruit the best of the candidates. Before applying, applications should ensure that they satisfy all the criteria. The applications of those who do not meet the criteria are bound to be rejected.

Educational Qualification

Primary Teacher: Candidates should be 12th pass with eighteen months D. Ed (Diploma in education). They should also be TET or CTET qualified.

Middle School Teacher: Candidates should have a Bachelors degree. They should also have degree or diploma in teaching i.e. B. Ed or D. Ed.

Higher Secondary Teacher: Candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree. They should also have degree or diploma in teaching i.e. B. Ed or D. Ed.

Computer Teacher: Candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Application (BCA or MCA). Those who are 12th pass and have done diploma course in computer diploma can also apply.

Age Limit

Applicants should be between the age limit of 18 to 45 years. Age relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories is applicable as follows:

• Other Backward Class (OBC): 3 years
• Scheduled Caste (SC): 5 years
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years

1. Visit the official website of Bihar Staff Selection Commission – Bssc.bihar.gov.in
2. In the Careers or Vacancy menu, click on Teacher.
3. There you will find online application form for the post of Teacher, along with latest 2022 vacancy notifications and  PDF notification. Read the notification and ensure that you are eligible to apply for the vacancy.
4. Then click on Apply.
5. Carefully fill up all the required information.
6. Pay the fee online / Offline and upload documents, photo and signature.
7. Recheck the application form before submitting.
8. Click on Submit to complete the application process.
9. Take a print out of the application form for future reference.
