Bihar PSC Assistant Public Sanitary & Waste Management Officer Selection Process
The Commission will hold a written exam that applicants must take. Two mandatory papers totaling 200 marks will make up the written exam. I will be an objective-style paper with General Studies-related questions. The questions in Paper II’s objective-type second paper will likewise be drawn from the fields of chemistry, environmental science, or chemistry, civil/environmental science, public health engineering, biotechnology, or planning/architecture. The degree level of the exam will be a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, an environmental science, an engineering degree, etc.

Age Limit
- Those who intend to apply for the position must be at least 21 years old and at most 37 years old. The following age restrictions apply:
- Female candidates and those from the Extremely and Backward Classes: 40 years
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 42 years; Scheduled Caste (SC):
- Government employees who have been employed for three years straight after being appointed by the Bihar government: 42 years
- 47 years for those with disabilities
- 40 years old, ex-servicemen
Educational Qualification
Candidates should meet one or more of the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
- Environmental Science or Bachelor of Engineering
- B. Tech in Chemistry/ Civil/ Environmental Science/ Public Health Engineering/ Biotechnology or Planning
