The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level exam and every year Board of School Education, Haryana executes this exam for teachers to qualify for the different teaching posts i.e. PRT, TGT, and PGT positions in Haryana Government and also Private Schools. Haryana TET is the obligatory state-level recruitment examination performed for the selection of teachers at government schools in Haryana State. Haryana TET is for the candidates who want to become teachers in Level-1 PRT (class I-V), Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII), and Level-3 PGT (Lecturer) in schools in the state of Haryana. All the contenders who fulfill HTET eligibility criteria are eligible to occur in the exam.

HTET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates desiring for HTET 2022 must check their eligibility as per the notification. The candidates must fulfill all the HTET eligibility criteria as per the board to be qualified for the HTET Exam 2022. Check the eligibility criteria to involve in HTET 2022 below:

HTET Educational Qualification 

Candidates can check their educational qualifications for involving in HTET 2022 below.

•  HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-1 Class I -V Primary Teacher(PRT):

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equal) with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Education (Special education).

OR

(i)Graduation and passed or occurring in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary or Graduation or Post graduation with Hindi is as one of the subjects.

• HTET Eligibility Criteria for Level-2 TGT (Class VI-VIII):

(i)Graduation and passed or occurring in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education is necessary (by whatever name known)

OR

(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

(i)Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equal) with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

(i)Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

(i)Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or occurring in B.Ed(Special Education).(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. secondary or Graduation or Post graduation with Hindi is as one of the subjects.

• HTET Eligibility Criteria for Class IX-XII Level-3 Lecturer :

(i) Postgraduate degree in the specific subject with at least 50% marks from an authorized university and B.Ed. from authorized university

(ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr.Secondary or Graduation or Post-graduation with Hindi is one of the subjects. And With a Uniform good academic record.

HTET Age Criteria

• The minimum age to involve in the HTET 2022 is 18 years.
• The maximum age to involve in HTET 2022 is 38 years.

HTET Notification 2022: Application Form

HTET Online application is predicted to begin on November 16, 2022. Candidates need to apply online on the official website of BSEH by following the actions given below:

Step 1: Fill out the Registration Form

• Firstly, Visit the official website of HTET 2022.
• Register yourself by choosing the exam level i.e. PRT/ TGT/ PGT. Existing users don’t require to register themselves again.
• Click on the online application link for HTET only after deciding the level,
• Fill in all the necessary details and finish the registration process.
• Your provisional registration number and password will be sent to your reported e-mail address.

Step 2: Upload Photo, Signature & Thumb Impression

• Upload your scanned Photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression in the specific area.
• Find the Photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression specifications in the table mentioned below:

• The image Dimension of the photograph ought to be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) only.

Step 3: Make Payment

• Deposit HTET application fee online employing different online payment options available.

• After successful payment of the fee, candidates are recommended to get a printed copy of their confirmation page for future use. This confirmation page will be valuable in the future.

All the candidates qualifying for the exam will be allocated a certificate valid for five years.
