Considering the prevailing situation of COVID-19, JEE Main and NEET exams are again postponed to September 2020.

Due to COVID-19 lockdown, as the academic schedule for 2020-21 start late, the ministry had asked central, the state board to reduce syllabus for the commencing academic session. Since students lose their academic time, the JEE Main and NEET 2021 will be held on the reduced syllabus.
A large number of aspirants who have applied for JEE Main and NEET exams have been demanding for postponement of JEE, NEET exams due to rise in Corona virus cases. So keeping in mind the safety of students, both exams were postponed.
JEE and NEET New Exam Dates 2020
- JEE Main: September 1 to 6
- NEET: September 13
- JEE Advanced: September 27
JEE Main – entrance exam for undergraduate level engineering course will be held from September 1 to 6, 2020 and NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) will be held on September 13. Whereas, JEE Advanced exam is scheduled to September 27.

According to the exam conducting body, NTA (National Testing Agency), over 9 lakh students have registered to appear for JEE Main and over 15.93 lakh have applied for NEET 2020.
