LIC Housing Finance Eligibility Criteria
Management Trainee
- Educational Qualification: must have completed MCA, B.E. / B. Tech / B. Sc in the field of Computer Science/IT with minimum aggregate 60% from a recognized university. Distance learning, part-time and correspondence degrees will not be considered.
- Age: the age for the candidates who can apply must be 24 to 30 years as on 01.12.2020
- Work experience: the aspirants must have minimum 1 year in the related field would be preferred.
Assistant Manager
- Educational Qualification: The interested candidates should have qualified MCA, B.E. / B. Tech / B. Sc in the field of Computer Science/IT with minimum aggregate 60% from a recognized university. Distance learning, part-time and correspondence degrees will not be considered.
- Interested candidates who are applying for the post Information Security Engineer and Mobile App Developer must have relevant degree/ qualification/certification.
- Age: The age limit for the interested candidates is between 25 to 30 years as on 01.12.2020
- Work experience: The applicant must have minimum 3 years in the related field with a reputed organization.

The Life Insurance Corporation of India, Housing Finance Limited has put forward various skills that is expected to be there among each applicant who is interested to apply for the vacancies.
Management Trainee
- The candidate must have exposure on any database skills like Oracle, MySQL or MS SQL
- He/she must be able to write complex SQL queries for reporting & MIS. The applicant must be capable to create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.
- The interested candidates must have good analytical & testing skills.
- He/she should have problem solving ability.
- The applicant must have knowledge regarding object-oriented programming, front end application development and modern software engineering practices from their achievement of obtaining a degree in Computer Science.
Web Developer
- The candidate must have a solid computer science foundation in object-oriented programming, front end application development and modern software engineering practices from their achievement of obtaining a degree in Computer Science.
- He/she must have a strong Core Java Language Fundamentals (Collections, Concurrency/Multi-Threading, Localization, JDBC) combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as EJB. Sound knowledge & deep understanding in Web Technologies /Webservices (Servlets/JSP, SOAP /REST, Spring, Struts 2.0, Hibernate, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Jquery and AJAX, Java EE, Tag libraries) using Restful implementations.
- The applicant should have deep understanding and hands-on development experience with design skills about UML, object-oriented programming and design patterns in Linux environment.
- He/she must also have hands-on experience of working extensively with IDE such as Eclipse.
- The interested candidates must have extensive technical experience and development expertise in data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines or database as part of the overall application architecture (experience with any or all of the following highly desirable: MySQL Oracle, SQL Server). Strong in Architecture and Design Issues.
- He/she must be excellent at debugging and testing skills.
Database Developer
The applicant must have a solid computer science foundation in Database programming preferably Oracle (12c or higher).
- He/she must have good experience in Oracle, PL/SQL development. Responsibility shall include data analysis, writing complex Oracle PL/ SQL and queries.
- The candidate must create and maintain PL/ SQL packages, functions, stored procedures and other related objects in multiple schemas.
- He/she must have exposure on performance tuning, query optimization.
- He/she should have the ability to pick up new technologies and skills.

Web Content/Graphics Designer
- He/she must have the calibre to execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off.
- The candidate should have the ability to conceptualize website/ application design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness.
- The interested candidates must be able to create wireframes, user flows, process flows.
- He/she must have exposure to HTML/HTML5, CSS 3, Java Script, Jquery, Bootstrap, Ajax, Cross Browser development.
- The candidate must have the proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
- The candidate must have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- The applicant must be excellent in visual design skills and have the ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- He/she should be up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies.
Database Administrator
- The applicant must have solid computer science foundation in Database administration preferably Oracle (12c or higher).
- He/she must have excellent Oracle DBA technical skills, Oracle versions 11g R2,12c or higher with Oracle Deployment and Administration of Oracle Clusterware Oracle Database builds/upgrades/Migrations, Oracle RAC and Clusterware management Skills.
- The candidate must have the skills on administration of Oracle ASM.
- He/she must have advanced Oracle Performance Tuning at various levels. Experience in using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and optimizing the queries, tracing long running queries, blockings and deadlocks.
- The applicant having working experience on Oracle Exadata would be preferred.
- He/she must be skilled at performance tuning of Large Scale OLTP systems.
- The candidate must be skilled at Account Management (Login Creation, Deletion, Profile Modification) & managing Security/Audit parameters.
- The applicant must have knowledge on index de-fragmentation, re-indexing and update the index statistics.
- He/she must have periodical backups of the database and timely recovery when required.
- He/she must have good knowledge of all Oracle Tools Advanced Oracle Dataguard Skills along with Configuration & Monitoring High Availability, Log-Shipping, DB Mirroring, Replication, Clustering.
- The applicant should have the knowledge to architect and implement Oracle Features Knowledge to assist with oracle database design and layout.
- He/she must have the ability to apply Oracle minor releases and security patches and the ability to pick up new technologies and skills.

Mobile App Developer
- The applicant must have expertise on platforms like Android and/or iOS including Android programming language and Android Software Development Kit (SDK)/ iOS SDK.
- He/she Knowledge of frameworks like Cocoa Touch frameworks.
- The employee must have the ability to create Android / iOS applications based on UI/UX requirements and mockups.
- Hs/she must be able to develop custom mobile applications from start to finish.
- The applicant should be able to use API development platforms, cross-platform app development frameworks, and responsive design for mobile web apps is a huge plus.
- Candidates with knowledge about C, C++, HTML5, JavaScript, etc. would be given extra preference.

- The applicant must have good analytical skills and knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods.
- He/she should have professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
- The candidate must have the ability to communicate network security issues to peers and management along with the ability to read and use the results of mobile code, malicious code, and anti-virus software.
LIC Housing Finance Selection Process
All the interested candidates should submit their resume on the official website www.lichousing.com (Careers: Submit Resume) along with the completed application form. As the LIC Housing Finance Recruitment 2020 is out, the selection process is given below.
- All the eligible and shortlisted candidates from the applications received will be undergo the online technical skill test at the location selected by the candidates at the time of submitting the application form. The online technical skill test will be of 50 Marks.
- The shortlisted candidates who are selected based on the merit list of online technical skill test will be called for the interview in Mumbai. The interview will be of 50 Marks.
- The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of combined scores of online technical skill test and interview.
It is to be noted that the LIC Housing Finance Recruitment 2020 is out and the candidates who are interested in the job profile and have the skills required for each job might be eager to know the salary for each job the candidates who get selected as the management trainee will be getting Rs.25,000 per month while an assistant manager will get 10 to 14 lakhs per year.
