Military Exercises Types.
Before we look into the name and particulars of the military exercises carried out in the year 2021 let us look into the types of military exercises that are prevailing. The military exercises can be broadly classified into three based on the participation. And they are
- Domestic exercises
- Bilateral exercises
- Multilateral exercises
Domestic Military exercises
The domestic military practices or the exercises are the exercises that are conducted by the Indian military itself without involving any of their troops of the foreign countries. They may intermingle with various department of the nation for the exercise or may not be.

Bilateral Military Exercises
These are the military exercises that involves two foreign military troops. These are usually conducted by the friendly alliance of the countries in order to familiarise their strategies and equipment. If a war is sprout out their troops should be able to handle our equipment, we should be able to handle their equipment. So strategically sophisticated and unique equipment strength and strategies will not be exchanged in this phase. Usually this will be conducted by the friendly countries which are not politically rival each other. The military exercise will be followed by a bilateral agreement.

Multilateral Military exercises
These are same as that of the bilateral exercises and the only difference is between the number of participated countries or troops in the exercises. More than two will be there. No politically rival countries will participate in the exercise. This will be followed by a multilateral agreement.
