•  Participate in weekly meetings with subcontractors, architects, and owners. If more meetings with the MEP subcontractors are required, chair them.
• Oversees the MEP trades’ equipment installation of owner-provided equipment.
•  Keeps an eye on the MEP system’s installation, startup, and commissioning while working with the owner and engineer.
•  Oversee and direct the owner training program.
• Oversee the MEP trades’ close-out procedure.
• Keep up positive working connections with owners, engineers, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.

Skills Required For MEP Coordinator

• Strong communication skills
• Five or more years of expertise in construction or MEP coordination
• A desire to work as a team
• Strong grasp of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
• Ability to recognize and resolve complex issues
• General comprehension of building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes as they relate to project construction
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, but
  not necessary
