The officials of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSCC) will be recruited the candidates on the basis of their performance in following stages:-
- Written Examination
- Physical Measurement Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Certificate Verification
OSSC Excise Sub Inspector Exam Pattern 2022
The OSSC Excise Sub Inspector Exam Pattern explains the detailed pattern of the examination such as number of questions, marks for each question, type of questions and duration of exam. Candidates who are applied for OSSC Excise Sub Inspector, have to know about the exam pattern and marking scheme as well syllabus. - The exam will consist of objective type questions with multiple choice of answers.
- OSSC Excise SI will Exam consist of 100 questions and each question carries one mark.
- The candidates have to complete the exam within 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- There is a negative marking system for every incorrect answers.
Physical Standard Measurement & Physical Test:-
After qualifying in the written exam, the selected candidates need to appear for a Physical Standard Measurement & Physical Test. In this phase, candidates need to perform a few tasks to test their physical fitness and performance in physical activities. Given-below table shows the physical criteria for men and women:-

Physical Test
Candidates who have qualified in the physical standard measurement need to attend Physical Test. If the candidate failed in physical measurement and physical test, he/she will be disqualified from the selection procedure.

Interview
The applicants who have qualified in Written exam and Physical test get selected for the interview round, which is the final round of selection. In this stage, candidates need to be well prepared with questions from the Current affairs of India and state, must have a good command of the English language, and also must have sound knowledge of the Odia language. This session will be conducted for 10 marks. The final list of the selected candidates will be published on the basis of the marks calculated in both stages.
OSCC Excise Sub Inspector Exam 2022-Allotment
Commission of Odisha Staff Selection will be announced the exam result on their official website. The process of application submission on the website of OSCC had begun on the 9th March 2022. The last date to apply for the post was 8th April 2022.
