The Rajasthan Public Service Commission has issued an application to apply for the position of Protection Officer under the Women’s Empowerment Protection Rule. This position is temporary. Applications may be submitted online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in, the official website. The application procedure starts on July 11th, 2022, and is open until midnight on August 9th, 2022.

The grade salary for Protection Officers hired by the Commission is Rs. 4200, and they are paid under Pay Matrix Level L 11. During the probationary term, a set wage will be paid in accordance with state government regulations.

RPSC Defence Officer Vacancy 2022

According to the Commission’s announcement, there are four openings for the position of Protection Officer. Depending on the need, the number of openings may be raised or lowered. The following are the reservations for the openings:

Scheduled Caste 

• General: 2
• General Women: 1

Scheduled Tribe

• General: 1

The Dandavat reservation are as follows:

• Ex Servicemen: 2 (Backlog)
• Specially qualified people: 1 (Blind/ Low Vision (Backlog)

RPSC Defence Officer Selection Process 2022

The Commission will hold a competitive exam to determine the candidates. The Commission will scale, moderate, or normalize the answer sheets as necessary. The test will be objective in nature and can be taken online or offline. It will carry 600 points. There will be two exams: Paper-I, for general studies, is required, while Paper-II is optional. Each of the two papers will carry 300 points. Both papers will last three hours each. The Commission will threaten the exam’s date and location. The official website will host the release of the exam’s syllabus. When evaluating replies, negative marking is allowed. One third of the marks allotted for that particular question will be subtracted for each incorrect response. 40 percent of the total marks must be passing for each paper.

The Commission has established a set of requirements for applicants to the position of protection officer. Only those applicants who meet these requirements will be taken into consideration for hiring. All additional requests will be declined. Age Limit

The age range for applicants as of January 1, 2023, must be between 18 and 40. The following age exemptions will be allowed for the higher age limit:

• Male candidates with five years of experience who are members of Rajasthan State’s Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections
• Women running for office in Rajasthan State who are members of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections: 10 years
• Women running for office in the general category: five years
• 5 years for those with disabilities

The upper age limit for Defense personnel moved to the reserve and Ex-Service people would be 50 years, although there won’t be an age restriction in the case of those who were repatriated from Pakistan during the Indo-Pak War in 1971.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Law Graduate (LLB)/Masters in Social Works (MSW) from a University established by law in India.
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

If the necessary documentation is submitted prior to the admission exam, applicants who have taken the LLB or MSW final exam may also apply.
