The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) selects the Tourism graduates towards through the Assistant Tourist Officer (ATO) Grade-II. The TNPSC Assistant Tourist Officer (ATO) Grade-II is included in Tamil Nadu
General Subordinate Service. The selected Assistant Tourist Officers can withdraw the salary from the Level – 8 pay level, Rs.19500- Rs. 62000. The last Tourist Officer Grade-II recruitment was in 2019, and candidates can expect the next notification by the end of October 2020.

The candidates should have the following education qualification:
- Degree in Travel and Tourism, or Any Degree with Diploma in Tourism, and
- Must have undergone Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation offered by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or any equivalent courses offered
by any institution recognized by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology of Government of India, and - Proficiency in English and Tamil. Candidates should have studied Tamil and English as one of the Subject in
Degree Course.
