Note:
(i) The educational qualifications prescribed for the post should be obtained by passing the required qualification in the following sequence of studies i.e. 10th + HSC or its equivalent + U.G. Degree required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The results of the examination should be announced on or before the date of notification
(ii) Applicants claiming equivalence of qualification with the prescribed qualification should upload and submit proof of equivalence of qualification in the form of Government Order issued on or before the date of this notification and submit it along with the online application otherwise their application will be summarily rejected after due process. Government regulations regarding qualification equivalence issued after the date of this notification will not be accepted.

Physical Test (Walking Test)
- The applicant will have to undergo a physical test consisting of a walk of more than 25 km and 16 km, which male and female applicants have to complete in four hours, conducted by the Chief Senior Conservator of Forests before being admitted to the oral test. A certificate to this effect must be submitted by an official forest authority appointed by the Chief Forest Warden on his behalf. (Walk test will be conducted in Chennai only).
- Applicant must satisfy the Chennai Medical Board regarding his/her physique, fitness and capacity for rugged outdoor work in the Forest Department.
Certificate Of Physical Fitness:
Candidates selected for appointment to the said post will be required to submit physical fitness certificate. The selected candidate should submit the said certificate to the appointing authority upon starting the job. Applicants with impaired vision should submit a certificate of eye fitness from a qualified eye specialist

Note:
(i) The total number of free chances used will be calculated based on the claims made in previous applications.
ii) The number of free chances that the applicant will use can be verified by the Commission at any stage of the selection process.
(iii) In the event that an applicant who falsely applies for exemption from paying the application fee by withholding information about his/her previous application(s), his/her candidature will be rejected after due process and will be disqualified for a period of one year from the date of appearance at the examinations and selections carried out by the Commission.
(iv) Applicants are requested to carefully select “Yes” or “No” options for availing the benefit.
(v) Applicants are advised in their own interest to keep a record of the number of times the fee waiver has been availed irrespective of the information displayed on the applicant dashboard.
(vi) An application (regardless of the seat requested) requesting a fee concession will operate to exclude one chance from the number of free chances allowed.
(vii) Applicants who have availed the maximum number of free chances allowed / applicants who do not wish to avail fee concession / applicants who are not eligible for fee concession shall select “No” option to the question regarding concession. Such applicants shall then pay the required fee through the prescribed mode of payment.
(viii) Failure to pay the prescribed fee on time along with the online application will result in rejection of the application after due process
Mode Of Payment Of Examination Fee:
i. Examination fee of Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty only) is payable online through net banking / credit card / debit card on or before the last date of submission of online application by selecting the option in the online application. Payment of the exam fee can also be made during the application correction window.
ii. Applicants are also required to pay the applicable service fees
iii. Applicants can avail exemption from payment of examination fee as per eligibility criteria.
iv. Offline mode of payment, if delivered in the form of draft / postal order etc., will not be accepted and applications sent by this mode of payment will be summarily rejected and will not be returned or refunded.
v. The Commission is not responsible for failure of online payment or delayed approval of the fee by the banks. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the transaction they have made is successful.
