Age limit
The candidates must have not attained the age of 42 years as on July, 01,2020. There will be age relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Application fees
The eligible candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh belonging to OCs and BCs have to pay a fee of Rs.600/-. SCs and STs have to pay Rs.300/-. All other candidates have to pay Rs.600/-.
The fee can be paid through Online facilities like Credit card, debit card and internet banking.
How to apply for AP Police Scientific Assistant Post
The candidates can select the option “Submit application” from the official website (slprb.ap.gov.in) and fill in the details. The candidates have to upload a copy of their photo, signature, community (for BC/ SC/ ST candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh) while submitting their application. Before submitting the application, candidates should verify their eligibility in terms of educational qualification and age. After submission of the online application, the candidates can take a printout of the application for future reference.
NOTE : The candidates should select only one appropriate post. Submitting more than one application form will be taken as disqualification for eligibility. Selecting multiple codes and submitting multiple applications will be taken as disqualification.

Selection criteria
The candidates will have to undergo the following tests: written test, medical test and documentation. The written test will be of 120 Marks. The questions will be objective in nature and it is for two hours duration. The question paper will be in English Language only. Those who clear the written test will be called for medical test.
