Bihar Police Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Bihar Police Constable written exam scheduled to be conducted on 20th January has been postponed. The exam is conducted by the Central Selection Board of Constable. Police Constable Exam Details

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

The candidates should be between 18- 25 years. The upper age relaxation will be given to the eligible candidates according to the government norms.

Educational Qualification

The applicant should have completed the intermediate( Plus two). Also, those who have completed the +2 from Bihar State Madrasa Education Board or Bihar State Sanskrit Shiksha Board or other equivalents recognized by the State Government.

The total vacancies reported are 11880.

Salary Scale

The pay scale will be of Level 3 job. Selected candidates will be having a salary between Rs. 21,700 — 69,100/-.

Police Constable Exam Pattern

First Phase:

• Written Examination: Consist of 100 questions for 100 marks. The time duration will be of two hours. There is no negative marking, so the candidates can attempt all questions.
• The qualifying marks will be 30%. Candidates scoring above this will only be selected to the next level.

Second Phase:

• Physical Efficiency Test:  Will be out of 100 marks.
