Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) sets out the notification for the Food Safety Officers in December 2019. The recruitment is to select TSPSC Food Safety Officer (FSO) in the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) and in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). TSPSC conducts the common recruitment test for the same in February 2020 across the state for the 36 vacant posts.

Age Limit: TSPSC Food Safety Officer
Applicants towards TSPSC Food Safety Officer 2020 should have been a minimum of 18 years old and Maximum 34 years. The age is calculated as on July 07, 2019.
- Minimum Age (18 years): The Candidate should not be born after July 07, 2001.
- Maximum Age (34 years): The candidate should not be born before July 02, 1985.

TSPSC Food Safety Officer Results 2020
Telangana PSC conducts the written examination to select eligible Food Safety Officers (FSO) on February 23, 2020. Total Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Examination will be displayed on the Telangana State PSC website after the declaration of the final results. Till the commission finalize the selections, marks of the
Written Examination will not be displayed/ communicated to the candidates. However, after the result, published GRL will be displayed. Successful candidates who qualify within the written test will be called for the certificate verification.

TSPSC FSO Results 2020
Those candidates who have selected for the certificate verification shall exercise web option before the process, failing which his/her candidature is responsible for rejection for the further selection process. The candidates will be selected and allotted to Service/ Department as per their ranks in the merit list prepared solely on the test and as per District Preference for allotment of candidates against vacancies and for the vacancies available. Food Safety Officer in IPM is a State Cadre Post, hence reservation for Local Candidates is not applicable as the selection is based on the statewide merit list.
TSPSC is expected to declare the results of the written examination by the end of May 2020. Once they publish the final results the below-given link will help you to find your results. TSPSC FSO Cut-Off Scores
Telangana PSC is yet to publish the Food Safety Officer Results. The below-given scores are tentative on;y. The actual scores may vary from the given marks.
As per the official notification, the minimum qualifying marks for the selection process for candidates from different categories are as follows:
- Open Category Students 40%,
- Backward Community Students s 35%
- SCs, STs and PH Candidates 30%.
The minimum qualifying marks are relaxable within the case of SC/ ST/ BC/ PH at the discretion of the TSPSC. The expected cut-off Scores are:
