OSSC Combined Police Service Exam Date: Prelims
The prelims examination of the OSSC Combined Police Service was earlier scheduled to conduct on 04 October 2020. And it was then postponed due to the COVID19. Now, the new exam date for the prelim’s exam has been announced by the Commission.
According to the new calendar the Combined Police Service exam has been scheduled to be held on 12 May 2021.
Steps to Download OSSC Combined Police Service Exam Date 2021
- Visit the official website of Odisha Staff Selection Commission @ossc.gov.in.
- Click on the link- Tentative Calendar of Recruitment Examinations for the Month of March to May 2021.
- Click on the link and you will get the PDF of the Exam Calendar in a new window.
- Download and save or take the printout of the schedule for future reference.
Preliminary Exam Pattern
- The exam will be of qualifying nature for one and half hours duration.
- The total marks allotted for the prelims is 100. And, the exam will be an objective OMR type/ Computer-based Recruitment Test.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the prelims exam.
The questions will be from topics like:
- General Science,
- Current Events of National and International Importance,
- History of India and Odisha,
- Fundamentals of English Grammar,
- The arithmetic of HSC Standard,
- Problem Solving and Reasoning.
The candidates qualifying for the preliminary exam will be called for the Physical Measurement/ Physical Test.
