- In the 17th century the East India Company started their trade in colonial India and initiated company rule in 1757 when they won the Battle of Plassey, followed by the 1857 Indian Rebellion.
- In the beginning Pakistan, India and Bangladesh were a part of one region called the Indian Subcontinent. Since when the religion Islam was formed and accepted in the Indian Subcontinent, the entire peace was disrupted due to despotism of Muslims by the Hindus. After succeeding the War of Independence in 1857, some intellectual notion and beliefs were activated to protect the Muslim Minority.
- The Government of India Act 1858 led to the British Power to undertake direct control over the Indian Subcontinent. In 1905 a division formed in Bengal aimed to create a separate State for Muslims.
- The labour government in Britain got worn out by events like World War II and numerous riots. The solidity of native forces to continue the control over an increased rebellious India lowered, and so the government decided to remove British power from the Indian Subcontinent.
- In 1946, being a secular party, the Indian National Congress offered a single state, where the All India Muslim League who denied the idea of single state, put up an idea of separate Pakistan. In 1946, the Cabinet Mission was send to India to compromise between Congress and the Muslim League, proposed for a dispersed state providing more power given to local government. But this idea was declined by both parties. Hence resulted in a lot of commotion in South Asia.
- In the end, in February 1947 Clement Attlee the Prime Minister declared that, British government would give full self-power to British India at the latest of June 1948. In June 1947, the British government declared that the concept of partition of British India into two independent states was approved. August 15 is chosen by Viceroy Mountbatten as the second anniversary of japan. As he selected August 14 as the date to celebrate the Independence Day in Pakistan in order to take part in both ceremonies (India/Pakistan).
- Indian Independence Act 1947 made British India into two new independent supremacy (Dominance India and Dominance Pakistan), where the act gave a system for partition of Bengal and Punjab. Later, on 18 July 1947 the Act received royal approval. As a result of division led to religious violence across the subcontinent including millions of Muslims, Hindu and Sikh.
- On 14 August 1947, Pakistan became independent. Muhammad Ali Jinnah was acknowledged as the first general governor in Karachi.
