Selection Procedure

The selection procedure will be based on a Computer-Based Test and personal interviews. The CBT examination will be conducted in major cities of Uttar Pradesh state and the authorities of the recruitment examination have the right to cancel any of the examination City or Centre as per the rules and regulations. 75% of the questions will be asked from Bachelor’s of Engineering level and 10% of questions will be asked from general knowledge. The remaining questions will be asked from reasoning aptitude and General Hindi. Each question will carry one mark and a negative marking of 0.25 will be done. Candidates must score more than 30% of marks in the CBT Examination to be eligible for the interview round. The syllabus of the examination will be the same as of GATE 2021.
