AFCAT 2022 – Exam Pattern
The first step in the preparation process is knowing the exam pattern and keeping the track on the important dates of notification. The IAF recruitment entry level examination includes 2 exams which are AFCAT or Air Force Common Admission Test and EKT or Engineering Knowledge Test. The recruitment call has been posted for three different branches namely Flying Branch, Ground Duty – Technical and Ground Duty Non Technical. The candidates applying for the technical branch are supposed to attempt both AFCAT and EKT apart from other candidates. The mode of conduct of the test is online and in English medium. AFCAT exam is conducted for a duration of 2 hours provided with 100 objective questions. EKT consists of 50 questions for a given time of 45 min. Each correct answer carries 3 marks and an incorrect answer carries -1 mark.
