Indian Army Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Indian Army Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
Applicants should ensure that they fall in the age limit mentioned by the Army. Candidates who are in the range of 18 to 25 years are eligible to apply for these posts.
The reservations applicable on upper age limit are as follows:
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) – 3 years
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
- Service rendered in Army/ Navy/ air Force shall be deducted from actual age and resultant age should not be exceeding the maximum age limit i.e. 25 Years prescribed for the post by more than three years.
Indian Army Recruitment 2022 Educational Qualification
Applicants aspiring to apply for the vacancies should have the following educational qualifications:
- Cook – Should have Matriculation or equivalent and must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.
- Tailor – Should be Matriculation Pass or equivalent and should have ITI pass certificate as a Tailor from a Govt recognized institute.
- Barber – Should have Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board with proficiency in Barber’s trade job. One year experience in the trade is desirable.
- Range Chowkidar – Should have Matriculation Pass or equivalent from recognized Board.
Those who are conversant with duties of the respective trades with one year experience in the trade will be given preference. - Safaiwala – Should have Matriculation Pass or equivalent from recognized Board.

Should pass typing test with a minimum speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on the computer (corresponding to 10500/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 Key depression for each word).

Indian Army Recruitment 2022 Selection Procedure
The selection procedure to shortlisted eligible candidates will consist of two stages – Written exam and Skill Test. The written examination will consist of General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension. The standard of questions will be of matriculation. Skill test will be conducted only for those candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the written examination.

Online applications will not be accepted. All applications should be submitted through Ordinary Post, Registered Post or Speed Post affixing postal stamps of Rs 25.

How to Apply for Indian Army Air Defence Lower Division Clerk 2022
The envelope enclosing the application form is to be boldly enfaced on top “ Application for the post of LDC: and category as the case may in capital letter only addressed to “ The Commandant, Army AD Centre, Ganjam (odisha) PIN-761052”. Self attested copies of relevant certificates will be attached with the application original certificates produced by the candidates at the typing test.
Important Points to be Noted
- Application should be made in either Hindi or English only.
- Candidates are requested to superscribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF …………” on the top of envelope while sending the application form.
- Separate application for each post should be applied for.
- Candidates may apply for only one category or reservation. In case candidate submits, more than one application for the same post, the candidature is liable to be rejected.
- Overwriting/ erasure/ incorrect/ incomplete information in the application form will result the rejection of the application.
- All supported documents along with the application are to be self attested.

Documents Required
- Proof of Dale of Birth (Class X pass certificate from a recognized University or Board).
- 12th pass Certificate from any recognized Board/Council/University.
- ST Caste certificate as per latest government rules from Competent Authority for candidates seeking age relaxation under ST category.
- Valid Nativity Certificate issued by the ADM or Tehsildar.
- Character Certificate issued by the Sarpanch / Gazetted Officer.
- No Objection Certificate from employer (in case of Govt servant).
- Army Discharge Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen candidates only).
- One self-addressed envelope duly affixed with postal stamp of Rs 25/- in which call letters for written test will be issued intimating the dates of the examination, if candidate is found eligible in all respect.
- Two passport size photographs self-attested at the front, one photo to be pasted in the application form and another to be pasted on the call letter to be issued.
- Aadhaar Card & PAN Card.
