Educational Qualification
i) In terms of eligibility criteria for Upper-Primary (6 to 8) Teacher, candidates must be a Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) Degree holder with 50% aggregate for under graduation from a recognized institution or university.
ii) In terms of eligibility criteria for Primary (1 to 5) Teachers:
- Higher Secondary or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% of marks along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent, or
- Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.) A degree holder and a graduate with 50% aggregate, is eligible to be considered for an instructor position to teach classes 1 to 5, or
- Higher Secondary or its equivalent, with a minimum of 45% of marks along with two years Diploma in Elementary Pedagogy (according to National Council of Teacher Education (Recognition, Standards, and Procedures) Exchange 2002), or
- Higher Secondary or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks along with a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.El.D), or
- Higher Secondary or its equivalent with not less than 50% of marks along with a two-year Diploma in Shiksha Shastra (Special Education), or
- Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or its equivalent and graduate degree.
