Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee (JSCC) will soon be conducting an exam to recruit candidates for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The exam date will be announced shortly. Once the registration process is complete, the Commission will release the dates through the official website – www.jssc.nic.in. Candidates are advised to check the website regularly for updates regarding the exam date and release of Admit Card.

Jharkhand TGT PGT Teacher Exam Date
Jharkhand Staff Selection Committee (JSCC) recruits TGTs and PGTs on a regularly basis to keep up with the requirement of the education department. Currently the registration process is going on and is open until 7th October, 2022. Once the registration process is complete, the Commission will announce the dates for the exam. Bookmark this article to get updates regarding the exam date. Those who score the qualifying marks will make it to the merit list and will be called for document verification. The Admit Card for the exam will be released couple of days before the exam. The Admit Card should be retained until the selection process is complete.
Jharkhand TGT PGT Teacher Exam Pattern

A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted by the Commission. The exam will be conducted in one phase i.e. there will be only one exam (Mains). The exam consists of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Both the papers will be of objective type. The questions in Paper I will be of one mark and will be of graduation level whereas that in Paper II will be of two marks and will be of postgraduation level. The main exam will be conducted in two shifts.

If the exam of any subject is taken in groups, then the Commission will normalize the marks scored by the candidate. The formula for normalization will be separately published in the official website by the Commission.
Paper I is qualifying in nature and candidates have to score 33% to qualify. Paper II of candidates who do not qualify in the first paper will not be evaluated. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of mark scored in Paper II. It is mandatory for candidates to score 50% marks in Paper II to make it into the merit list. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe should score 45%.

Jharkhand TGT PGT Teacher Admit Card
The Commission will release the Admit Card a few days before the exam. It will be uploaded in the official website. Candidates who have applied for the vacancy should download the Admit Card and carry a copy of the Admit Card for the exam. Entry will be prohibited for those without the Admit Card. The Admit Card will also be needed during the later stage of selection i.e. document verification.
