• Educational qualification: Candidates are required to possess MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.

• Certificate of registration: Candidates must have MBBS qualification registration (permanent/provisional) issued by MCI or State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).

• Internship: As per the eligibility criteria of NEET PG candidates must complete their one year internship on or before August 15, 2024.

NEET PG attempt limit

Eligibility criteria for NEET PG 2024: AIQ 50% seats

1. As per the NEET PG 2024 eligibility criteria, medical graduates belonging from the state of Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for AIQ 50% seats.

2. Only those candidates from J&K who have been nominated by the Government of India, under central pool seats, for pursuing MBBS from medical colleges in Jammu & Kashmir will be eligible for AIQ 50% seats. These candidates have to submit a duly signed affidavit which declares that they have been nominated by the Government of India under the above-mentioned category.

NEET PG state quota eligibility criteria

• Candidates must possess a provisional MBBS pass certificate.
• Candidates must have secured NEET PG cutoff of that particular year.

• Since the year 2019, it is no more mandatory for Foreign Nationals to be registered with MCI while writing NEET PG 2024
