Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was born in Mathura. He was born in 1916 who later changed into one of the best leaders of the Bhartiya Jana Sangh. It was from this organization the Bhartiya Janata Party later came into being. From 1953 to 1968 he became the active leader of the association. He was a figure who stood for the cause of poor people in society. His deeds were highly appreciated by the world. It is important to understand the role played by him to uplift the people belonging to the lower strata of the society.
The government considered this day as commemoration day to celebrate the services rendered by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya to society. In memory of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the government launches many schemes to support those belonging to the weaker section of society. The government has even celebrated the “Bharat Key Kaushalzaade” occasion on the eve of the day.
Starting from 2017, this is the fifth year of the celebration of the Antyodaya Diwas. This day is utilized to improve youth skill development programs and career enhancement programs. This is a genuine attempt to support the youth belonging to the rural areas. The youth can improve themselves if they are given a chance. This chance is made available by a governmental organization to support the lives of poor people in society.
The youth is promising they can better improve their standard of living by aspiring to achieve better job opportunities. The Ministry of Rural Development selects the beneficiaries of the two skill development programs. in India, the recent skill development program introduced by the government is Rural Self Employment Training Institute and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana.
Around 800 people are elected as the beneficiaries. Following this in 2018, the government has set up camps, symposia, Blood donation camps, programs and orientation activities to convince the people about the need for the protection and consideration of those people belonging to the poorest and weakest section of the society. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was a politician who possess the long-term goal and eagle-eye viewpoint on matters related to the development of society.
