Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited is inviting online applications from eligible candidates to filling-up 86 backlog vacancies of Energy Assistants to work in Village/ Ward Secretariats in the Districts covered in APCPDCL. The candidates on selection and appointment will be paid Rs.15,000/- PM on consolidated pay for a period of 2 years. For the selection process, the recruitment board will conduct the written test and meter reading test for all eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification: Candidates should have completed matriculation/ SSLC from any recognized board. Candidates should have ITI qualification in Electrical Trade or Wireman Trade or Intermediate Vocational Course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR)/ Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) / Electrical Wiring and Service of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) and Electrical Technician from a recognized Institution/ Board.
- Age Limit: Candidates age shall be between 18 years and 35 years as of January 31, 2021. Relaxation in the upper age limit is permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST and BC candidates. For in-service Contract Workers working in APDISCOMS, the age at the time of entry into the organization as a Contract Worker will be considered.

Once the candidates register themselves with the Andra Pradesh CPDCL with a valid mobile number and email id, they have to pay the required application fee before filling the application form. The candidate has to upload his Photo with Signature in the prescribed format at the time of submission of the application form. The candidates can apply for the available vacancies for a Maximum of 3 Districts including the local District and their candidature shall be considered for the vacancies existing only in those Districts.
The required application fee for candidates from various communities are as follows:
- Unreserved, OBC, BC, EWS: Rs, 700
- SC, ST: Rs.350
