APSC Recruitment 2020

As per the advertisement number 09/2020, applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector under the Assam Government. Furthermore, this recruitment is to fill 26 vacancies under the Transport Department of Assam. All the eligible aspirants are directed to apply for the above mentioned post starting from 14^th October 2020. However, the applications must be submitted on or before 09^th November 2020.

APSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate applying for the post must be a permanent resident of Assam. Moreover, the candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam or a valid registration certificate of Employment Exchange. Any of the above mentioned certificate must be produced along with the application form.

Educational Qualification

All the candidates applying for the post should possess any of the below mentioned minimum qualification: H.S.S.L.C with three-year diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. However, it should be from an AICTE recognized institute of Govt. of Assam/Govt. of India.

APSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Age Limit

Any candidate applying for the Motor Vehicle Inspector Post should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2020. However, the upper age limit is relaxable for the following categories:

• SC/ST – Up to 43 Years
• OBC/MOBC – Up to 41 Years

Physical fitness

All the candidates applying for the post should have a mentally and physically sound health. Furthermore, the candidate, if selected, is required to undergo medical examination before appointment.
