Academic Qualifications
- The candidate who has a Graduation or degree (B.F.Sc.) from I.CA.R. or D.F.Sc. recognised University/College or Masters in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) from any institution of I.C.AR., Mumbai.
- More priority would be given to those aspirants who already had experience in involving various projects of Fishery Department.
Age Requirements
As on based on the date of 01/01/2020 the aspirants must be under the age of 38 years and should be more than 21 years. But there are convenient provisions for the SC/ST, OBC/MOBS and Person With Disability categories.
- SC/ST: Up to 43 years
- OBC/MOBS: Up to 41 years
- PWD: Up to 48 years
*(note that there is no post reserved for PWD candidate. Hence, they are required to compete with other candidates).

Pay Scale
Pay-scale: 14,000/- to 60,500
Grade pay: 8,700/-
Hence the earnings include pay scale, grade pay and other allowances by Assam State Government per month.
Eligibility
Being a permanent resident of Assam is the most important eligibility for the post for that the candidate should submit: PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam and also Registration Certificate of Employment Exchange in the State of Assam.
Academic Qualification
All the candidates who intend to apply for the post must have Diploma Course in Civil Engineering (3years) from any College recognized by AICTE.
Age
The applicant must be more than 18 years of age and not less than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2020. The upper age limit is different for:
- SC/ST candidates- up to 43 years
- OBC/MOBC candidates up to 41 years
- Persons with Disability (PWD) up to 48 years
