Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2021: Apply for 150 General Officer Posts: Bank of Maharashtra offers a total of 150 posts for General Officer Vacancies. Out of 150 vacancies, 22 seats are reserved for SC, 11 seats for ST, 40 seats for OBC and 15 and 62 seats for EWS and UR respectively.
Only the shortlisted candidates will be allowed to attend the online exam destined to conduct after the primary selection process. It is the duty of the candidate to ensure the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria as per the requirement. Candidates should read the instructions and conditions given by the examination board carefully before applying for the post.
Payment Scale for General Officer
Bank of Maharashtra sets a payment scale of Rs. 48170 – (1740/1) – 49910 – (1990/10) – 69810 to the general officer.
Bank of Maharashtra General Officer Post: Qualification
The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and they must have a minimum of 60% marks in all semesters/ years. Those candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD can have a minimum of 55%. Preference will be given to those candidates holding JAIIB and CAIIB or those candidates who have professional qualifications like CA/ ICWA/ CFA/ FRM from a well-established Institution/ University/ Board recognised or approved by Govt. of India or Govt. Regulatory Bodies respectively.
Experience required to apply for the General Officer’s Post
A candidate is expected to have a work experience of 3 years in any Scheduled Commercial Bank as an officer. Candidates who have experience in credit related areas, Branch Head/ In charge are preferred. The candidates are expected to read carefully the eligibility criteria beforehand.

Bank of Maharashtra: Selection process for General Officer’s Post
Bank of Maharashtra’s selection process begins with an online examination conducted via IBPS. Those candidates who are selected in the online examination will be called for an interview in the proportion of 1: 4 based on the published ranking list.
The combined ranking list will be formulated on the basis of the scores obtained during the online examination and interview. A merit list will be published afterwards for the final selection of the candidates.

The candidates are expected to download their call letter for GD/ Interview/ Examination and an information handout from Bank of Maharashtra’s official website. The candidates are required to enter their registration number and password/ date of birth in the corresponding columns.
