Application Fee

- Candidates appearing for Category-I and post number DR -1 must pay INR 150/-.
- Candidates appearing for Category-II and Post number DR/2 and DR/3 must pay INR 100/-.
- Application Fee is exempted for candidates who belong to SC/ST, PWD, Ex-Serviceman (for DR posts), and Women category.
BARC Stipendiary Trainee Exam Pattern 2022
The exam pattern for BARC Stipendiary Trainee exam for both Category-I and Category-II will be as follows. This will help candidates have an idea of how to prepare for the examination.
Category-I
- The Written Examination will be conducted for a total of one hour and will comprise of 40 objectives (multiple) type questions.
- The syllabus for the said examination will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be.
- Those candidates qualifying in the written examination shall be short-listed for interview. The date of the interview will be notified later.
- The marking scheme will be 3 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The final selection and ranking will be on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the interview and no weightage will be given for marks scored in the written examination.

Category-II
The candidates appearing for Category-II will have to undergo 3 stages under the selection process. The stage-wise details of the exam will be as given below.

- The examination will consist of 50 multi-choice questions.
- The exam will be conducted for a total of 1 hour.
- 3 marks will be awarded for every right answer.
- 1 mark will be ducted for every wrong answer given by the candidate.
- Candidates with <40% in the General category and <30% in a reserved category will be screened out.
Stage-II – Advanced Test
- All candidates Screened in Stage-I will be allowed to undertake Stage-II in their respective trade.
- The Test will comprise 50 multi-choice questions of two-hour duration.
- 3 marks for each correct answer will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- A Merit List of candidates will be prepared after Stage-II based upon the scores obtained in Stage-II only.
- All candidates with <30% in the General category and <20% in a reserved category will be screened out.
Stage-III – Skills Test
- Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-III.
- Candidates clearing the skill test will be shortlisted in order of Merit based on the marks secured in Stage-II.
- The number of candidates shortlisted for the Skill Test will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-II.
- The Skill Test will be based on the Go/No-Go basis.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Admit Card
The candidates who have applied for the BARC Stipendiary Trainee Recruitment for category-I & category-II will have to attend the written test, which will be the first stage.
