Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) had released the notification and invited applications from candidates to the post of Sub Inspector from 16 August 2020 to 24 September 2020. It is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It is good news for the candidates who are preparing for the examination. The BPSSC has released the Bihar Police SI Exam Date for 2021. The Bihar Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the notification and the application window for the candidates to make the application was from 16 August 2020 to 24 September 2020. Through the latest notification published by the BPSSC, the commission has initiated that the prelims examination dates for the recruitment examination to the Sub-Inspector posts will be conducted on 26th December 2021.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is scheduled to be held on 11 January 2022 at Sanjay Gandhi Organic Garden (Gate Number 1), Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, Patna – 800001. The admit cards for the same will be uploaded on 18 December 2021 at bpssc.bih.nic.in. The exact date of the exam, time will be mentioned on the admit card.

Bihar Police SI Eligibility Criteria
For the candidates to be eligible for making the application and to appear for the examination, they must have certain educational as well as different qualifications. Here are the eligibility criteria that every candidate must possess so as to apply for the Bihar Police SI examination 2021.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must have completed the bachelor’s degree or Other equivalent status recognized by the State Government to be eligible for Bihar Police SI and other posts.
Age Limit
- General Category- The Minimum Age for a candidate belonging to a general category should be 20 years and the Maximum Age for Males should be 37 Years, whereas for Females it should be 40 years.
- OBC Category- The Minimum Age for a candidate belonging to a general category should be 20 years and the Maximum Age for Males should be 40 Years, whereas for Females it should be 40 years.
- SC/ST Category- The Minimum Age for a candidate belonging to a general category should be 20 years and the Maximum Age for Males should be 42 Years, whereas for Females it should be 42 years.
How to apply online for Bihar Police Exam 2021?
- The first step is to go to the official website and click on the direct link to apply online for the post.
- Then a candidate can click on “Click here for New Registration”.
- A window will appear where you can fill in your personal details
- Once you have filled in the necessary details click on Save & next and then complete details of Part and click on submit.
- You will receive an official mail and SMS on your mobile with registration no. and Email ID.
- Go to the official website and click your registration details and click on the login button.
- Make sure you fill the Part II of the form.
- The next step for the candidate is to upload the photo & signature as per the mentioned dimensions.
- Now you can fill in the details for the Payment Process. Complete the online payment and take a print of the registration slip.

Bihar Police SI: Selection Process
The selection process of Bihar Police SI is conducted in two stages.
- Written Test

- Medical Examination
The Written Exam takes place in two stages, the preliminary and main exam.

- The Prelims Exam is qualifying in nature
- A candidate needs to score a minimum of 30% marks to get through this exam.
