The exam dates, vacancies etc will be mentioned in the Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2022 notification. This recruitment consists of in three stages – prelims exam, main exam, and physical test. Bihar Police SI Selection Process 2022
Through this common test, BPSSC will appoint SI, Sergeant, Assistant Jail Superintendent (Direct Recruitment), and Assistant Jail Superintendent (Ex-Serviceman) also towards the service. Below is the selection process.
Selection Process consists of 4 stages:
Stage 1: Prelims Exam
Stage 2: Mains Exam
Stage 3: Physical Eligibility Test
Stage 4: Medical Test and Document Verification
Preliminary Exam :
Preliminary examination date for Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Jail Superintendent is not yet announced.
Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern

- Aspirants will get 2-hours to attempt the whole exam.
- The questions will be objective-type MCQs.
- The qualifying marks of this prelims round is 30. Aspirants scoring less than 30 percent marks will not be allowed to go further in the selection process.
Main Written Exam:
- The Exam will be of Written Objective Type.
- Main written examination shall comprise of two papers
- Each Paper will be of 02 Hours Time Duration.
- In Paper – I,There will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Hindi Section….
- In Paper – II, Their will be 100 Questions of 200 Marks in General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics & Mental Ability.

Medical Examination
The candidates who clear the above stages will be called for medical examination and document verification.
Documents Required
The candidates must produce the following documents for verification:
- Proof of Educational Qualification

- 10th certificate for Direct Recruitment.
- Experience certificate for Ex-servicemen.
- Proof of Residence
Any one of the following document can be produced as proof of residence:

Bihar Police SI 2022 Application Process
- To apply for the BPSSC SI recruitment notification, Candidates should visit the BPSSC official website; Click Here
- Click on the “Click here for New Registration”.
- On the newly popped up tab, you can fill in your personal details.
- Once you have filled in the necessary details click on Save and next and then complete details of Part I and click on submit.
- You will receive an official e-mail and SMS on your mobile on your registered email id and mobile number respectively.
- Go to the official website and click on the login button.
- Make sure you fill the Part II of the form.
- Upload the photo and signature as per the mentioned dimensions.
- Complete the online payment and take a print of the registration slip for future use.
