BPSC Project Manager Exam Date 2021

The Bihar Public Service Commission has now confirmed the examination date for the post of Project Manager under BPSC through the latest official notification. The commission had earlier invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Manager in district industries centres which comes under the Department of Industries, Bihar. The recruitment notification was officially released on the 15^th of February in 2020. After the conclusion of the application processes, BPSC Project Manager  Examination was scheduled to be held on 11th of April 2021. However, this examination was also postponed like most other examinations due to the spike in Covid 19 cases across the country. BPSC Project Manager Exam Date 2021

In the year 2020, when the Bihar Public Service Commission released the recruitment notification (Advertisement No. 02/2020) for the post of Project Engineers, applications were invited from eligible and suitable candidates to fill 69 vacant positions. In spite of the closure of the application procedure, the BPSC could not conduct the Project Manager Exam as previously scheduled on 11th of April 2021. This was due to the widespread of the ongoing pandemic. So, all the aspirants were eagerly waiting for further updates from the commission.

The Bihar Public Service Commission has now put an end to all the speculations surrounding the BPSC Project Manager Exam Date 2021. The commission has now issued a fresh new notice with details about the BPSC Project manager New Exam Dates for its Preliminary Round. The Project Manager Exam will be conducted by the commission on 08th of August 2021 across various examination centres. Also, it will be held from 12.00 pm to 2.00 pm in the examination centres of Patna, Muzzaffarpur, Baghapur and Ghaya Districts in the state of Bihar. Hence, all of the candidates must reach the examination centres on the aforementioned dates strictly on time.

3. Interview.

BPSC Project Manager Exam pattern

Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination will consist of 150 questions and the candidates will be given 2 hours and 15 mins to write the examination. The prelims are qualifying in nature and marks obtained in prelims will not be considered for final merit. The table given below explains the BPSC Prelims Exam Pattern for Project Manager.

Main Examination

The main examination is only for the candidates who are shortlisted for the main examination based on their performance in the preliminary examination. The main examination will consist of two sections which is Compulsory & Optional sections. Questions from the compulsory section are mandatory to attempt for all candidates while they can choose one subject from the optional section to attempt in the main examination. •  The subjects General English and General Hindi are qualifying in nature, candidates have to score a minimum of 40 marks separately in both the papers in order to qualify for the selection.
• The marks obtained by a candidate in English & Hindi section will not be considered for merit.
• The marks obtained by a candidate in General Studies & Optional Paper will be considered for Merit-list along with the Interview marks.
