Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) is looking for 10081 eligible candidates to Posts of Auditors and Accountants across India. These posts are under General Central Services, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Ministerial category. Selected candidates will get posted in the concerned State Account General’s Office in the pay scale of Level- 5 (Rs. 29200-92300) along with other allowances. Indian Audit and Accounts Department proposes to amend Recruitment Rules (RRs) to the posts of Auditor/ Accountant, Level 5 in the pay matrix. According to the new suggestions, candidates with graduation below 30 years can be recruited directly through open recruitment towards the Accountant/ Auditor position across India. The proposed eligibility criteria & vacancy details are given below.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification: Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University. Candidates should have the local Language proficiency for at the level as prescribed and to be tested, for the State in which the vacancies exist and recruitment is to take place, in the office of State Accountants General.
- Age Limit: Candidates age shall be between 18 years and 27 years.
