KVS Eligibility Criteria 2022
1: The first recipient of the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna’ award?
Candidates will have to go through the eligibility criteria to apply for the KVS recruitment 2022. A few factors are considered by KVS when hiring a candidate. Education Qualification for PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)
- Two Years Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject
- From a recognized university a master’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects
- B.Ed or any equivalent degree from a recognized University
- In Hindi and English Medium Proficiency in teaching

Educational Qualification for PRT (Primary Teacher)

Primary Teacher (Music) | Essential:

Can B.Ed appearing apply for KVS?
Yes, B. Ed and CTET both are mandatory for the KVS TGT Post.
(a) 4 integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
(b) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate.
The KVS PGT TGT and PRT Recruitment test is widely regarded as the most complex and the most demanding. More than 2 lakh people apply for test, hiring a few hundred or thousands following many KVS procedures. Compared to other teacher recruitment tests, the selection rate is much lower.
