Constitution Day 2022 in India

Constitution Day or Samvidhan diwas is celebrated in India on 26 November every year to celebrate the adoption of the constitution of India. The constituent assembly of India adopted the constitution on 26 November 1949 and this has been celebrated as constitution day since 2015. This day was also celebrated as law day previously and this day is important in order to spread the important information related to the constitution of our country and to help understand the basic details and rules and regulations mentioned in the constitution by which each and every citizen must live their life in this country. 

History Of Constitution Day 2022 in India

On the 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar, 26 November was named as the constitution day in order to celebrate the importance of the constitution in our country. BR Ambedkar is known as the father of the Indian constitution and to give respect to him this day was created. It was created in the year 2015 in order to celebrate the adoption of the constitution. Various programs are created by the ministries and departments present under the Government of India to spread ideas related to the constitution and to pay respect to BR Ambedkar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared this day as the constitution day in October 2015 in Mumbai. 

Celebration Of Constitution Day 2022 in India

Various departments under the Government of India celebrate constitution day in order to provide information related to the constitution and the rights and duties of all of the citizens that they must follow in order to be a better part of society. Many National competitions are also held online and offline on the subject of the Constitution of India which are a very great way to help students understand the importance of the constitutions and the rules that they must follow. The students are encouraged to take part in the celebration in order to be a better part of the country.
